Responsibilities:

• To provide on-site support to clients including system setup and configuration installation, patching of basic systems in Windows / Linux / Unix platform;

• To provide hardware and software maintenance support and perform system health check;

• To perform site preparation works;

• Primary On Call engineer on rotation with other level 3 and level 2 engineers.
   

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or equivalent in Information Technology is preferred.

• With 1-3 years experience in Windows / Linux system installation or Administration. Solaris and AIX are advantage;

• Knowledge in technical infrastructure environment and system architectural design;

• Holder of Microsoft, Linux, Unix, Networking…etc. certification are preferred;

• Good communications, pro-active and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system administration (Solaris and AIX) including system setup and configuration installation, patching, and system monitoring;

• Troubleshooting and infrastructure performance monitoring turning;

• Capacity planning and monitoring on system and applications.

• Prepare infrastructure related documents including but not limited to procedures, diagrams, standard operations process and capacity planning report

• Communicate with other IT support teams, vendors and users for customer’s systems requests and changes

• Assist Section Head to train junior engineers, plan for daily support activities and manage vendors to meet SLA.
   

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines;

• With 5-7 years experience in Solaris and AIX system installation or Administration;

• Knowledge in technical infrastructure environment and system architectural design;

• Holder of Microsoft, Linux, Unix, Networking…etc. certification are preferred.

• Self-motivated, Collaborate, Organize and Independent; 

• Good interpersonal and communication skill with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
